Nick grew up in Bowling Green, Ohio. He took an interest in golf at young age, competing in numerous local, state and national junior golf tournaments. Attending Bowling Green State University on a golf Scholarship, he was a four-year letterman and All Mac selection. After graduating with a B.A. in Sports Management with an emphasis in Enterprise, he began working on his career path as a PGA Professional. His career started at Toledo Country Club as an assistant under PGA Master Professional and National PGA Professional of the Year, Don Kotnik. After spending six seasons at Toledo Country Club, it was time for a new experience as he took the 1st Assistant position at Inverness Club under, Master PGA Professional, David Graf. While at Inverness, Nick was named Toledo Chapter PGA Player of the Year and Assistant Professional of the Year. Completing two full seasons at Inverness, Nick was hired in 2003, replacing long time retiring professional David Samaritoni at Highland Meadows.
