Name

Nick Myers

Title

Golf Professional

Nick grew up in Bowling Green, Ohio. He took an interest in golf at young age, competing in numerous local, state and national junior golf tournaments. Attending Bowling Green State University on a golf Scholarship, he was a four-year letterman and All Mac selection. After graduating with a B.A. in Sports Management with an emphasis in Enterprise, he began working on his career path as a PGA Professional. His career started at Toledo Country Club as an assistant under PGA Master Professional and National PGA Professional of the Year, Don Kotnik. After spending six seasons at Toledo Country Club, it was time for a new experience as he took the 1st Assistant position at Inverness Club under, Master PGA Professional, David Graf. While at Inverness, Nick was named Toledo Chapter PGA Player of the Year and Assistant Professional of the Year. Completing two full seasons at Inverness, Nick was hired in 2003, replacing long time retiring professional David Samaritoni at Highland Meadows.

Greg Pattinson

Title

Grounds Superintendent

Greg is originally from Flint, Michigan and resided there the majority of his life. He is a 1999 graduate of Michigan State University with a B.S. degree in crop and soil sciences with an emphasis on agronomy. He was also an Evans Scholar while at MSU, a full scholarship made available to caddies at clubs around the country. Greg’s experience includes two years as the 2nd assistant superintendent at Oakland Hills Country Club, assistant superintendent at Warwick Hills Golf and Country Club for two years, and first superintendent’s at The Captains Club in Grand Blanc, Michigan. He spent nine and a half years at Captains Club before taking the same position at Indianwood Golf and Country Club in Lake Orion, Michigan. The goal of the HMGC maintenance is to allow you to enjoy your time at the club and your rounds while on the course. Greg is looking forward to continuing the tradition of this great golf club.

Ashlynn Hernandez

Title

Food + Beverage Manager

Ashlynn was a team member of Highland Meadows Golf Club for nearly 10 years before accepting the Food and Beverage Management position in October of 2019. She has spent 14 years in the food and beverage/hospitality industry gaining her experience In Metro Toledo and Ann Arbor. In her free time she enjoys entertaining family and friends with craft cocktails and dinner parties. As a self proclaimed foodie, Ashlynn has an extensive knowledge of our local culinary scene and finds a true passion in all things food related. With an eye for detail, you can be sure she will execute private and club events seamlessly while ensuring a pleasant dining experience for members and their guests.

Jim Kahmann

Title

Executive Chef

Chef Jim found his talent and passion for food from the ground up; from waiting tables, bartending, and line cook positions, to Sous then Executive Chef. He attended the University of Toledo and then the Culinary Arts School, at Monroe County Community College. Chef's experience includes 12 years at Toledo Country Club, where he served as Sous Chef after which he worked as the Executive Chef at the fine dining restaurant, The Garrison. Before joining the Highland team he worked at the University of Toledo within their catering program. His wealth of knowledge and expertise are sure to bring great flavor to any meal.

Bill Geha

Title

Pool Manager

Being a kid at heart, Bill is no stranger to knowing what brings joy to the youth and families at HMGC. He has been in education for over 46 years and has been part of team at Highland for over 40 years. Bill and his friendly staff operate a safe pool that provides the perfect location for fun and relaxation for adults and kids of all ages! Bill has engaged the Club’s youth with such programs as swim team, water ballet, summer reading, dance, and art. The future success of all children has been a huge part of Bill’s life and that is why these programs not only provide fun for the kids but also work to instill and inspire important values like friendship, respect, and responsibility.

Beth Edgington

Title

Office Manager

Beth grew up locally and has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Sienna Heights University. She has worked in public accounting and the private sector for several years and as an office manager and controller in the Toledo area for over 15 years before joining the HMGC management team. Beth enjoys using her experience to serve the membership in a professional and proficient manner.

Melissa Lohbauer

Title

Membership + Marketing

Melissa is dedicated to growing and maintaining the membership at HMGC through communication of the quality member experience at the Meadows. She has been a part of the Highland team since 2004 and is a member of the Professional Club Marketing Association. Melissa shares the Clubs passion for creating lasting relationships, upholding family values, and preserving the integrity of such a long-standing private club. She has a degree in Interior Design and enjoys using her creative energies when designing the Club’s newsletter and creating membership promotions and incentives.
